Wings Of Steel Announce Powerful New Album "Gates Of Twilight"
Wings of Steel is a hard rock/heavy metal band founded by vocalist Leo Unnermark and guitarist Parker Halub in 2019. The two met while studying music in Los Angeles and have been working together ever since. Rooted in the old-school hard rock and heavy metal of the 70s and 80s, the band's style could be described as an epic, new and unique expression of those classic styles. Unnermark's bluesy dynamics and powerful high register with Halub's bombastic riffs and expressive soloing come together to create a distinctly massive sound that speaks for itself.
Wings Of Steel released their debut, self-titled, EP in 2022 to rave reviews from the media.

Hearing the feedback and a burning desire to reach the top, the band set to work to create an album that would take all of the elements that make hard rock great and turn them into rocket fuel. After the riotous debut EP, the standard was set to bring to life “Gates Of Twilight;” 10 massive, powerful, hook driven melodies that are reminiscent of Crimson Glory, Steelheart, early Queensryche and Judas Priest. If you want your rock played at the pinnacle, with the power of an F-16, than this album is your elixir.
The lyrics for the most part are written based on universal reflections and speak of the balance between opposites (dark and light, good and bad, heaven and hell, life and death etc). They journey through various concepts and can thus be related to in multiple ways depending on how the listener him/herself, wishes to interpret them. The lyrics speak of the importance of the balance between things we love and desire and of the things we are afraid to accept.
