TRIUMPH'S Greatest Hits 30th Anniversary Edition LP Album Review

TRIUMPH'S GREATEST HITS 30th ANNIVERSARY EDITION LP -180 GRAM SILVER VINYL - 2 LP GATEFOLD WITH FOIL ACCENT & BONUS LIVE TRACKS

Classic collection of hits from the Canadian hard-rock power trio. The 30th Anniversary 180-gram double LP includes "Fight the Good Fight," "Rock and Roll Machine," "Magic Power," "Lay It on the Line," "Never Surrender" "A World of Fantasy," and more.

Comprised of drummer/vocalist Gil Moore, bassist/keyboardist Mike Levine, and guitarist/vocalist Rik Emmett, Triumph formed in 1975 (hailing from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada). With their unique blend of progressive rock, heavy metal and soaring melodies, the band enjoyed a string of rock radio and MTV hits, in the process scoring a string of gold and platinum-certified albums and selling out arenas, thrilling fans with their award-winning live shows.

The new vinyl sounds clean, crisp and flat out amazing! Sometimes you put on an album and realize that you forgot just how many great songs a band had, that was the case when I slipped Triumphs new reissue on the record player. Track after track of hit songs that flat out rock! The packaging is fantastic as you can see from the video below and the music still smokes just like it did the first time you heard it. Also featured are two special live recordings that close the set - “Never Surrender” (live at the US Festival) and “Blinding Light Show/Moon Child (live at Sweden Rock).
