HYSTERIA "Rock Police" Album Review
The new six-track EP from rockers HYSTERIA is a straight-ahead throw-back to old-school
power chord, hard rock n roll done 80's style. Kicking things off with the title track "Rock Police" a nod to that one annoying guy at every concert that thinks he could do everything better, but in reality, has most likely never set foot on a stage in his life. Great track to getting things started. Up next is the "Good Ol' Times" a tale of longing for the old days when all that mattered was rock n roll, whiskey, and women. It's a straight-up rocker. "Teacher Next To Me" kicks off with a little slide guitar and is just dripping with 80's sleaze. "Right Between the Eyes" is a full-on in your face rocker, probably the highlight of the entire EP for me.
Hysteria has grown by leaps and bounds since the release of their debut EP "Back To The Old School". With "Rock Police" the band has stepped its game up both musically and lyrically.
