BLACK SAND feat Jennifer Batten releases "Brand New Start"
Black Sand´s latest Album that goes by the name‘Brand New’ Start is their answer to the new generation of Classic Rock.The mix of old 70/80 ish sound and feeling plus the new wave coming in from the new members of the band,makes this album enjoyable for the younger generation as well as it is appealing to the older generation. Stunning hook lines,and memorable choruses together with the Lead Lines of Rockstar Jennifer Batten, makes this Album something you don´t want to miss. Influences for the Album: The Rolling Stones, Beatles, Bon Jovi, Barclay James Harvest Formed by Richard Pfanzelter in 1984 Black Sand is a Rockband from Austria which has already released 12 LP´s and gained Radio Airplay in England,Italy,Spain,France.The Band was formed as a Coverband and soon developed their own style,so they decided to write their own songs. After they played shows in England,Germany and Austria,they ended up changing the Line up of the Band to it´s latest Line up. The new Line up now consists of former and Bassist Mr Richard Pfanzelter,singer M.Nox of the US Hard Rockband Living Dead Stars) on Guitars Mr. Wolfi Moucka and on Drums Mr. Ingo Kempf.For the most recent Record „Brand New Start“ they teamed up in the Studio and live with Rockstar Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson,Jeff Beck) which played the Lead Guitar on the Album,and Mr Paul Welsham (Hurts and ex. Barclay James Harvest Drummer)which played all Drum parts on the entire Album. Furthermore Black Sand produced a Live DVD of a one off Show featuring Jennifer Batten that can be seen on youtube. Black Sand is working on selected live dates in England to promote the Album in 2020.
