Tygers Of Pan Tang release "Damn You" lyric video and single

October 25, 2019

Legends of NWOBHM TYGERS OF PAN TANG release today the single "Damn You". The song, which will be included in the upcoming album from the English quintet "Ritual" (out in November 22nd in Mighty Music), is also available in a lyric video, which can be seen below.

"Sometimes what sounds like a straight forward, hard rocking, headbanging song is not that easy to write. Robb had been working with Gav on this song for a while but only when we started jamming it, it finally became what you hear. My favoirite part is the bridge, with that '80 vibe and Robb solo on this one is a Killer!", vocalist Jack Meille says.

Robb Weir, guitar player and founding member, continues: "Classic hard rock, no messing... big guitar riff, juggernaut rhythm section and foot on the monitor, broadcast vocals. You'd be hard pushed to find a bigger anthem this year. Pass me a cigar, I feel a moment coming on..."

"...No Tygers album would be complete without a classic slab of old school heavy metal. That's "Damn You"!... Timeless Riff-o-Matic guitars slayed over a stampede of rhythm and straight ahead vocal made for the headbangers out there... This track really is Bulletproof", bassist Gav Gray concludes.

"Ritual" will be Tygers On Pan Tang second release with Mighty Music and also the second recording by the current line-up. The album was recorded at ex Tygers’ guitarist Fred Purser’s studio in Newcastle Upon Tyne and mixing and additional production was again conducted by Soren Andersen, most recently known for his role as Glenn Hughes’ guitarist. Mastering was done by Harry Hess (Harem Scarem).

"Ritual" is a huge priority for Mighty Music following the band's previous album that has now sold 10.000 copies + worldwide.

Line Up:
Robb Weir - guitars
Jacopo Meille - vocals
Michael McCrystal - guitars
Gav Gray - bass
Craig Ellis - drums & percussion
