ROSY VISTA 'Unbelievable' Album Review

Germany’s first female hard rock act Rosy Vista was around for five years between 1984 and 1989. During this time, the group from Hanover, helmed by guitarist Anca Graterol, released one professionally produced EP and two singles. It's 2019 and Rosy Vista are back together again and have unleashed their debut album "Unbelievable" nearly 35 years after the group first formed.

"Unbelievable" comes firing right out of the gate with the infectious lead off single "Crazy" an uptempo rocker with a catchy as hell chorus. "Sadistic Lover" is probably most commercial sounding song, a bit bluesy with some great vocals and a hell of a groove. "Tables Have Turned" has a heavy Dio-ish vibe, the opening riff and solo sounds like they fell right off the "Holy Diver" album, and that's a great thing! The ballads "Too Much Feeling" & "Sound of Your Love" are probably some of the strongest moments on the entire album. "Rocking' Through the Night" has a killer opening riff, and is just a flat out rocker! The band closes out the album with a cover of Steppenwolf's "Born To Be Wild" putting their own stamp all over the rock n roll classic.

If you like straight up kick ass rock n roll, then what are you waiting for?
