Megadeth‘s upcoming 35th anniversary ultimate greatest hits record, Warheads On Foreheads, will be accompanied by something brand new, reports Bleeding Cool.
With Heavy Metal Magazine, they are putting out a 350-page graphic anthology featuring new comic book stories by some very familiar names, inspired by the songs on the album. The graphic anthology is titled Death By Design and Bleeding Cool has the exclusive news of both the graphic novel - and who’s working on it.
The project, carefully curated by Megadeth’s co-founder Dave Mustaine and Heavy Metal Magazine aims to give both insight and understanding into the universe of Megadeth and its harrowed mascot, Vic Rattlehead. The creative teams include Ben Templesmith, Tim Seeley, Alex de Campi, Leah Moore, John Ostrander, Frazer Irving, Dan Fogler, Brian Wood, Joe Keatinge and more. In fact, Bleeding Cool have the entire comics creative teams, and the songs they have taken on, to share.
