The band posted the following on their Facebook page: On this day, last year, we lost one of the best rock composer in our history. Tom Petty was for me and for several more than a musical influence. He was a model to follow at several levels. Whether by his casual attitude or his refined and effective approach to rock music, he has been able to leave his mark forever. It is for this reason that, without a claim, we had to pay tribute to him by resuming "learning to fly".Thanks for the music Tom!
