The New Wave Of Hair Metal Weekend News Report July 7, 2018

Hello to all of you wild & crazy rockers bangin' heads in the hot summer heat. It was another sizzling week in the genre of modern hair/sleaze/glam metal. It all began with the June video/single contest that took place last Sunday - Tuesday, and the awards were passed out on Wednesday. 🇦🇺Sisters Doll🇦🇺 took the top spot with their video "STRUTT". They are the first Australian band to win the #1 position at TNWOHM. Congratulations to them. The Doll Army came alive in this contest. 🇲🇽Disaster Machine🇲🇽 came in 2nd with their video "Go Baby". And 🇸🇪ToxicRose🇸🇪 came in third for their single "The Fallen Ones". Great job, bands! Thank you for a rockin' June!
🇩🇪Kissin' Dynamite🇩🇪 released their 6th album "Ecstasy" yesterday to rave reviews. Accompanying the album was another video/single. This one titled "You're Not Alone". The Dynamite Boys are the band of the month here, and to commemorate that, they are featured on the profile picture of the month of July for this social media magazine/page/video sharing network.
Bloody Heels landed in Scandinavia last Thursday to play a rockin' show at the Pub Anchor in Stockholm. Today they are playing at the Norway Rock Festival. This is one of the largest rock festivals in all of Norway.
Next weekend is the return of 🇳🇴The Cruel Intentions🇳🇴 to Sweden! They'll be at the Harry B. James in Stockholm on the 13th, and at the Sticky Fingers in Goteborg on the 14th. 🇦🇺Catalano🇦🇺 are flying in from Australia to play with them on both nights.
The Nasty Ratz🇨🇿 announced that they have a new video/single titled "Against The World" coming out on November 7th. This will be the second single from the "new" era of the band, and the first to feature the new rodent behind the drum kit, Randy Dee.
Santa Cruz🇫🇮 frontman/mega-star, Archie Cruz was given a drum kit by Roland USA to help with the arrangement's for the new album that he is writing. He posted a video on his Instagram page of himself drumming and singing Toto's "Rosanna".

This whole section could've been a top story all in itself. This region is ALWAYS hot! It's the sleaze capital of the world! 🇸🇪Crashdiet🇸🇪 are jamming at the Helge a festivalen today. 🇸🇪Crazy Lixx🇸🇪 are heading to Balingen, Germany on the 13th for the "Bang Your Head" festival. 🇸🇪Eclipse🇸🇪 will be playing it on the 12th. 🇸🇪Hardcore Superstar🇸🇪 are playing the Rockfesten in Kunstradgarden on July 20th. 🇸🇪H.E.A.T.🇸🇪 played the Rockfest in Barcelona on July 5th. 🇸🇪Lipz🇸🇪 are heading to Italy for the first time on July 15th. Luppolo in ROCK! 🇳🇴NiteRain🇳🇴 are playing this year's Cruefest at the Whisky Go-Go in Los Angeles on July 28th. 🇫🇮Plastic Tears🇫🇮 released their latest video for the song "Miss Stumbling Legs" yesterday. 🇫🇮Shiraz Lane🇫🇮 are back at the infamous Tavastia in Helsinki on August 18th! 🇬🇧Bigfoot🇬🇧 will be at the S.O.S. festival on July 13th. And 🇬🇧DAMN DICE🇬🇧 will be playing on the 14th. 🇬🇧Midnite City🇬🇧 played the Seven Sins festival at the Hangar 18 venue last night. 🇬🇧Nasty High🇬🇧 did their first recording with new guitarist Arron Beckworth on July 5th.
Western Europe:
🇨🇭Dizzy Fox🇨🇭 headed to Germany yesterday to shoot their first ever music video! 🇩🇪Night Laser🇩🇪 were in Belgium yesterday for the Coq Rock VZW. 🇩🇪Pyrus🇩🇪 are rejecting all concerts this year to focus on their album and album release tour of Asia in 2019. 🇨🇭Rusted Guns🇨🇭 are playing the Birrhard Rockt on the weekend of July 28th. 🇫🇷Sadhayena🇫🇷 are playing at La Scene Michelet in Nantes on July 13th. 🇩🇪Snakebite🇩🇪 are playing this year's Metal Crash festival in Gieben, Germany on October 6th. The east was a little slow this week, but Bloody Heels and the Nasty Ratz made the top stories. 🇨🇿Dead Daniels🇨🇿 are playing at the Harley-Davidson 115th Anniversary this weekend. 🇷🇺Stripped Guns🇷🇺 hit a new mark in their vk following. They are offering package deals of merchandise.
Mediterranean, and Southern Europe:
This is the slowest week I have yet to see in this region. But on the positive side, a good portion of the band's in this region are writing and recording new material. So expect it to get packed again in the coming months. 🇭🇷Animal Drive🇭🇷 played the Metal Fest Pula yesterday. 🇪🇸Erotic Psycho🇪🇸 will be doing the Can Mercader festival on July 14th. 🇪🇸Jolly Joker🇪🇸 played at the Route 44 with the Sykko Dollz.
Australia, and New Zealand:
🇦🇺Black Alpine🇦🇺 & 🇦🇺Vicious Addiction🇦🇺 are playing the flood reunion party at the The Last Chance bar in Melbourne today. 🇦🇺Crosson🇦🇺 have entered the top 20 in the German Rock & Metal charts for their latest album "Invincible". 🇦🇺Dangerous Curves🇦🇺 will be at the Whole Lotta Love club on July 14th the THRS (The Hard Rock Show) Christmas In July party. 🇦🇺Snake Bite Whisky🇦🇺 are coming to the Voodoo Roadhouse in Guadalajara, Mexico on July 20th.

The production process for the debut album from 🇧🇷Inluzt🇧🇷 began yesterday as drum tracks had started. 🇧🇷Tales From The Porn🇧🇷 are postponing the release of their debut video "Back To The 80's" until the World Cup is finished.
South Africa/India/Japan/Asia/Middle Eastern:
🇮🇳Girish And The Chronicles🇮🇳 are performing a Guns N' Roses tribute show in Bangaluru on July 19th. 🇿🇦L.A. Cobra🇿🇦 will be at the Rumours Rock City last night in Randburg on July 27th.
