A'priori drop new video for BETTER MAN
Blackpool based three-piece hard rockers A'priori are back with their brand new video Better Man. The track combines hard rock with a classic rock style infusion, raspy vocals, groovey riffs, and soaring guitars that creates a sound that sends you back to the 80's when we discovered some of the biggest rock stars today!
In life every man at some point, usually more than once, has a moment or moments when they fall into a circle of destruction, self-pity and laziness and can’t see past their nose. Everyone around them suffers for their ignorance and WE inherently tarnish ourselves as bastards.
In this song, we aim to portray an apologetic and almost desperate plea for forgiveness, as tomorrow is a new day and there is always another chance to be a Better Man.” - Tony Lang (vocals/guitar)
Tony Lang - Lead Vocal & Guitar
Mouse - Drums & backing vocals
Mark Stuart - Keyboard & backing vocals
A'priori began in 2007 by Tony Lang and brother Mouse in the green isles of Southern Ireland. With influences from the likes of TRex, Guns n Roses, Kiss, The Doors, David Bowie and a love of Classical music influenced their writing style in such a way that it created the unique sound that is A'priori. The addition of Mark Stuart on keyboard brings a completely modern edge to the sound and gives more range to their material. All their songs are recorded, mixed and mastered by Tony Lang and produced by Tony and Mouse.
They have played with Eric Bell of Thin Lizzy at the Noel Reading Festivaland supported Dave Evans of AC/DC at the Blackpool leg of his Tour. They played at Hellfest and Lowther Pavilion Live and have headlined sold out gigs at Layton Institute two years running. They have also played the Lancashire Rock and Bike show twice and they went down a storm at Wildifre Festival at Wiston Lodge, in Lanark.
The band won the Listeners Choice Band of the Year 2012 on Total Biker FM Radio and had articles in Stencil Magazine, Manchester Rocks and recently appeared in Hard Rock Hell Magazine in their Fresh Hell pages.
A'priori brings a guitar driven sound with a classic edge to their modern rock style. Despite an industry that has diluted rock music to the point where one can’t even be sure there’s such a thing as straight rock ‘n roll anymore, A'priori give the pure rock fans what they need and desire. With exhilarating guitar solos, raspy vocals, the strength of the drums and keyboards that reinforce the sound with such precision and depth, the lack of a bass guitar is unnoticeable and refreshing. A'priori will leave you begging for more!
