CROSSON 'Invincible' Album Review

There’s a new rock n roll thunder coming from the land down under, and it goes by the name CROSSON ! Jason Crosson leads his band back into this rock roll circus armed with a new album titled “Invincible”. Ten tracks of fist in the air rock n roll anthems.

If you like the of idea of KISS and Motley Crue crossed with The Darkness and Steel Panther, you’re gonna love CROSSON” (Classic Rock Magazine)

ROCK WARRIORS - an ode to the future and the past of hard rock. The band proudly wears it’s influences on it’s sleeve. Giving a nod to our metal heroes of the past (who for the most part are all still out there kicking ass) . from Skid Row, Iron Maiden, Wasp, Accept, Kiss , Motley Crue and many more. One of many anthems that get’s “Invincible” kicked off rockin’ from the start.

NEVER GIVE UP - The bands first official video from the new album, has the band sounding like they just walked straight out of 1989’s Sunset Strip. A tasty little number full of background harmonies and a chorus that just wont quit.

SUCCESS NEEDS NO APOLOGIES - musically this song has a NWOBHM feel to it. A definet foot tapping, sing along affaire.

HERO - starts off slowly, building up to another fantastic chorus which gives way the perfect guitar solo. It’s a track that will find you hitting repeat and longing for the 80’s .

UNCONDITIONAL LOVE - What hard rockin’ 80’s themed rock n roll band would be complete without a ballad? Crosson hits all the sweet spots with "Unconditional Love", a duet with renowned Finnish singer / actress Jessica Wolff, with the music video shot in Sydney and Croatia by award winning feature film and music video director Steve Ravic (Doro, Manowar, Rhapsody).. Check out the recently released video below.

BROKEN - has a bit of old-school Hanoi Rocks vibe to it. After a few spins this one turns out to be quite the gem. (Granted I’m a huge Hanoi Rocks fan!)

INVINCIBLE - the impassioned title track, is a slammin’, rockin’, balls to the wall rock n roll anthem for a new generation.

REBEL TRAIN - Another track, and another rock anthem. Probably my favorite track on the album. Crunchy guitars, gang vocals, great chorus and some killer lead guitar. What more could you ask for? This one rocks turn it to 10!

LIVIN’ THE LIFE - While I can’t put my finger on what sounds so damn familiar about this song, I know it has to do with the opening riff. A simple yet effective riff that leads off the track. “Living’ the Life” a song about living life to the fullest and enjoying every moment of the here and now.

BACK TO HELL - a rambunctious number that ends the album in the same way that the rest of the album played out…….with an all out rock n roll anthem!

Crosson “Invincible” is a slammin’ rock n roll journey!!! - Hairbandheaven.rocks
