The New Wave Of Hair Metal Weekend News Report April 14, 2018

Welcome once again to the Weekend News Report. It was a rollercoaster week in the genre of modern hair/sleaze metal. The big news of the week was 🇫🇮Santa Cruz🇫🇮 cancelling all of their summer shows including their tour to Japan. The reason that was given was "undisclosed disagreement's with the band". No other news or updates have been given since as to if they are still trying to work it out, or if they are calling it quits. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that they can work it out.
🇱🇻Bloody Heels🇱🇻 embarked on their 2018 tour on Thursday night at the River Rock club in Lithuania. They followed that up with a Friday the 13th show in Warsaw. The guys will be in Poland for three night's, with a total of four shows in a row when including the Lithuania gig.
They'll be in the Czech Republic on the 19th, the Netherlands on the 20th, and then the Wildfest in Belgium on the 21st. These guy's are going to be a fine tuned and well oiled machine after all of this!
TNWOHM was honored to be selected to host the world premiere of the latest music video from 🇺🇸WICKED🇺🇸 titled "Reptile Roots". The response was EXTREMELY positive. It received some of the most "likes" that I saw in a while. Great job, dude's! I'd say you've got a hit with this one! Great song, and fun video! WICKED always delivers!
🇫🇮Shiraz Lane🇫🇮 added dates in late August - early September for a mini-tour of the UK! Four shows in four nights! They'll be in Cardiff at the Fuel Rock club on the 30th. They'll be playing at the Station in Cannock on the 31st, followed by the show in London at the O2 Academy in Islington, on their way to the HRH Sleaze festival taking place on September 2nd.
🇸🇪Crashdiet🇸🇪 will start their tour in the Netherlands on the 21st. These men are back and are ready to hit the road. Maverick will be joining them on the road. Get your tickets NOW!
I mentioned the Wildfest in Belgium...and I've been mentioning the Wildfest for a long while now. The 21st is right around the corner. The line up is as followed:

The 2012 🇸🇪Crazy Lixx🇸🇪 song "Riot Avenue" featured in the game trailer for the new "Radical Heights" 80's themed video game. 🇸🇪Hardcore Superstar🇸🇪 jammed in Sundsvall last night. 🇸🇪H.E.A.T.🇸🇪 are on a mini-tour of Finland right now. 🇸🇪Lipz🇸🇪 will be releasing their new video for the song "Scaryman" on Wednesday, April 18th. have tickets for the Camden Rock festival for sale. 🇬🇧Maverick🇬🇧 played at the Diamond Rock club as a warm up for their tour with Crashdiet starting next week. 🇬🇧Midnite City🇬🇧 are already laying down tracks for their second album. You can watch sneak peak video's on their page. The 🇮🇪Stone Trigger🇮🇪 "All Guns Blazin' " of the UK kicks off in May. 🇮🇪W.A.L.K.E.R.🇮🇪 will have a new single coming out on April 27th called "Thinking Of You". The song was produced by the infamous Michael Wagener.

🇨🇭Dizzy Fox🇨🇭 will be playing the Nothing But Metal Festival on May 5th. 🇩🇪Night Laser🇩🇪 will be playing at the Eierfabend XI festival on the 31st. 🇩🇪Pussy Sisster🇩🇪 have the guitars in the box on the new album. 🇩🇪Snakebite🇩🇪 have announced that the new album "Rise Of The Snake" will be available on both black and green vinyl. There will also be a limited edition cd box digipack. And they also have new t-shirts in stock for you to wear around. The new album comes out on May 4th.
Eastern Europe, and European Russia:
🇨🇿Bad Jokers Cream🇨🇿 are playing the Reddfest on April 21st. 🇨🇿Double Raw🇨🇿 will be playing their first show ever with Bloody Heels on April 19th at the Rock Club in Prague. 🇵🇱Freakshow🇵🇱 opened for Bloody Heels last night in Warsaw. 🇨🇿Hairy Groupies🇨🇿 will be playing at the m13 Klub in the Czech Republic on the 27th for a night of female fronted rockers. 🇨🇿Nasty Ratz🇨🇿 are playing in Leipzig, Germany on the 21st for the Flowerpower. They also have new t-shirts in stock. 🇨🇿Sweet Leopard🇨🇿 there are only two more weeks to go until the Spring Sweet Fest 5 taking place on the 27th.

The physical copy of 🇮🇹17Crash🇮🇹 "Hit The Prey" is now available. It's the second video/single from their up coming second album "Invincible" due out on April 27th. 🇦🇺Dangerous Curves🇦🇺 played at the Mojo Pool Lounge & Bar on the 12th. They'll be in Geelong on the 20th for the album launch party. 🇦🇺Sisters Doll🇦🇺 are giving away a double pass to their show with Europe. 🇿🇦L.A. Cobra🇿🇦 didn't win the awards at the South African Metal Music Awards, but that hasn't stopped them. They played a killer set at the Railways Cafe last night.
