Welcome to another edition of the Weekend News Report. Going strong since around February of 2017. This week started off with the March video/single contest. Unfortunately the contest was cut short, but there were enough votes in to decide the winners. The top three placed in this order:
#1) 17 Crash featuring Alessio Lucatti - Rum All Night
#2) Maverick - Myrmidon (single)
#3) Hardcore Superstar - Electric Rider
I congratulate the top vote receivers, as well as all of the bands that put out videos last month.
🇬🇧Maverick🇬🇧, 🇦🇺Dangerous Curves🇦🇺, and 🇺🇸Salems Lott🇺🇸 all released their new albums yesterday. Maverick and Salems Lott put out new video's to coincide with the album releases. Maverick made a video for their title track "Cold Star Dancer", while Salems Lott did one for "Royal Desperado" from Mask Of Morality.
🇿🇦L.A. Cobra🇿🇦 were nominated in two categories at the South African heavy metal awards tonight. The band was also invited to play at next year's Sleazefest in Bochum, Germany! They also plan on shooting a new video soon.
🇱🇻Bloody Heels🇱🇻 will kick off their tour on the 12th. They'll be on the road for most of April. Here are the dates (copied from the band post):

🇫🇮Reckless Love🇫🇮 frontman/mega star Olli Herman made a post about writing new music! He released a solo song a few month's back, so I don't know if he plans on doing a full solo album or if he's writing for a new Reckless Love album?
April Fools is always a fun day on band pages. Out of all of them that I read, 🇸🇪Crazy Lixx🇸🇪 and the 🇨🇿Nasty Ratz🇨🇿 were the best. Crazy Lixx told everyone that they were going grunge. They even went as far as to making a fake album cover that had the Seattle feel. Thankfully they were just pranking us, . And the Nasty Ratz had everyone convinced that they were opening for Iron Maiden. Sadly that one isn't true.

🇸🇪Bulletrain🇸🇪 will be back in action on the 21st for the Wildfest in Belgium alongside 🇸🇪Confess🇸🇪. 🇸🇪Crashdiet🇸🇪 are kicking off their 2018 tour in the Netherlands on April 21st. 🇳🇴The Cruel Intentions🇳🇴 guitarist Kristian Nygaard Solhaug celebrated his birthday last Sunday. 🇸🇪Cruzh🇸🇪 are NOT playing in Malmo next month despite rumors of them doing so. All official shows will be announced by them. As of right now they are busy working on new music. 🇸🇪Eclipse🇸🇪are in Jönköping at Denim & Leather tonight. They'll be at the Wildfest on the 21st as well. 🇸🇪Hardcore Superstar🇸🇪 are live at the Liljan tonight. 🇸🇪H.E.A.T.🇸🇪 will be touring Finland throughout next weekend. Check dates and venues on their page. 🇸🇪Pretty Wild🇸🇪 are still busy working on their new album "Interstate 13". 🇫🇮Rust N' Rage🇫🇮 are releasing their new album "Tales From The Wasteland" on Friday The 13th. They'll be playing at the Dog's Home club that night as well. 🇫🇮Serpico🇫🇮 will be at the Ravintola Basso on Friday The 13th. 🇫🇮Shiraz Lane🇫🇮 are playing the Freetime on the 20th. 🇫🇮Temple Balls🇫🇮 will kick their "Thunder From The North" tour on the 19th at the Depo in Riga, Latvia.
United Kingdom (UK) and Ireland:
🇬🇧Bigfoot🇬🇧 will be live at the Slade Rooms in Wolverhampton on the 14th. 🇬🇧DAMN DICE🇬🇧 guitarist Diego is opening his music school this up coming week. If you are in the London area and want to take classes, email: www.guitarclublondon.com. 🇬🇧Midnite City🇬🇧 are now taking payment's for their hoodies. Once that process is complete they'll be printing and shipping them.
🇬🇧Nasty High🇬🇧 lead guitarist Marcos has left the UK and has headed back home to Spain. They thank him for two years of service. They are now searching for a new lead guitarist. Message them if you are interested. 🇮🇪Stone Trigger🇮🇪 have their May tour dates of the UK posted on their page. 🇮🇪W.A.L.K.E.R.🇮🇪 played their first headline show at Fibbers Magees Downstairs on the 5th.
Western Europe:
🇫🇷Gorgeous🇫🇷 lost two members of the band on Monday. They are looking for new members. Message them if you are interested. 🇩🇪Night Laser🇩🇪 will be playing in Hamburg on the 26th. 🇫🇷Rakel Traxx🇫🇷 are prepping up for their third album.
Eastern Europe, and European Russia:
🇷🇺Backbone Crash🇷🇺 released two video's in March. The first was "Acid Suicide", and the second one is "Dazed Nation. I held the second one off until April.
🇨🇿Double Raw🇨🇿 fans, they'll be playing at the Rock Club in Prague with Bloody Heels on the 19th! And for you fans of 🇵🇱Freakshow🇵🇱, they'll be supporting Bloody Heels on the 13th in Warsaw.
🇨🇿Hairy Groupies🇨🇿 will be playing at the m13 Klub in the Czech Republic on the 27th for a night of female fronted rockers. 🇷🇺Stripped Guns🇷🇺 have posted the artwork for their up coming EP "Wild At Heart".
🇨🇿Sweet Leopard🇨🇿 will be throwing the Spring Sweet Fest 5 on the 27th. Double Raw will be playing there as well.
Mediterranean:
It's a Friday The 13th news special in the Mediterranean! 🇮🇹17Crash🇮🇹 are playing the "Proud 2 B Loud" show at the Mothership on the 13th. 🇭🇷Animal Drive🇭🇷 are also playing on the 13th, but at the Bikers Beer Factory. Australia, and New Zealand:
April 27th will unveil the new 🇦🇺Crosson🇦🇺 album "Invincible". 🇦🇺Sisters Doll🇦🇺 have a video of Foxxx shredding the guitar to the Randy Rhoads solo in Flying High Again.
