Loudness 'Rise to Glory' - Album Review

Since their commercial success in the U.S. with "Thunder In The East", Loudness has continued to put out album after album which have varied in style from more aggressive metal to old school-metal.

"Rise To Glory" represents a return to old-school, hard-rocking metal, with great riffs, hooks, vocals and of course the insane fretwork of Akira Takasaki's.

"Soul On Fire" and ""I'm Still Alive" are very good tunes...but "Go For Broke", "The Voice" and the epic..."Rain"...are just simply fantastic!

Loudness is a band that is not just repeating it's past, but forging ahead with an all new onslaught of metal. Akira Takasaki is writing some of the most catchy riffs he’s composed since the 80’s. "Rise To Glory" is one of the best Loudness albums to come out in a long time. It is the perfect melding of all eras for this band, and they sound better than ever.

Plus, this U.S. release contains a bonus disc of their 2016 release "Samsara Flight," which contains re-recorded versions of their early work. If you are a Loudness fan, this is a must have.
