Drama Queen release debut album 'Drama Queen'
DRAMA QUEEN is an all-original commercial Hard Rock band out of Rockford, IL. The band recently recruited Jim Michelsen, Tara Sheetz and J-Ro Rostamo in February 2018. They are currently preparing for live performances and the summer festival season. Drama Queen's songs are very marketable COMMERCIAL HARD ROCK - “very catchy”, sell-able and appealing to the 80's Hard Rock fan base. With over 20 million plays on SoundCloud and currently in rotation on multiple radio stations throughout the world, Drama Queen's music is being heard everywhere.
DRAMA QUEEN released of their highly anticipated debut album, DRAMA QUEEN on March 9th via Drama Queen Media Inc. The band is set impact Rock radio in April. Drama Queen (Album) is the bands first release.

Tee Sing started playing music at a very young age. Growing up in a musical family, Tee's father and two uncles were in a band together. Watching them perform, Tee knew right away he wanted to be up on stage just like them. They ended up taking him under their wing to where Tee developed his skills as a singer and guitar player. Since then, he has been involved in numerous rock and metal bands like: Bloodline, Just Cause and Rock Party, to name a few. With powerful screaming vocals and a killer signature falsetto, Tee brings that big 80's rock voice that rounds off Drama Queen's sound. Wham glam, thank you ma'am! Matt Vogt has been writing, producing and recording commercially appealing hit Rock Songs for the past 30 years. His melodic guitar hooks and vocal arrangements have been performed before Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell of the X-Factor, on the Milwaukee Harley Davidson’s stage, and featured on multiple radio stations and TV. Matt’s music has been auditioned by video game executives for the XBOX, WII, PLAYSTATION and PC. Matt has lead bands like JAGER, Caddis Fly, and Relatively Speaking to new levels. Combine the vision of a great writer and producer with big guitar-layered sounds of the 80’s and DRAMA QUEEN will no doubt Rock Your World! Jim Michelsen began playing music at age 10. Although Jim focused on saxophone throughout high school, his real passion was guitar. After graduation, Jim studied music at Northern Illinois University. While he appreciated classical & jazz guitar, his heart screamed rock & roll. He played in numerous bands throughout college, taught guitar at a couple of music stores off campus and did some session work at a local studio. After college, Jim took a long, 15-year haitus from performing. But in 2013, he started playing again with local Rockford area band, Dirtee Sheetz. Playing live again re-fueled that dormant passion he had been missing. In 2018 Jim joined DRAMA QUEEN “LIVE”. His lead and rhythm guitar style compliments the already incredible DRAMA QUEEN sound!!! Rob Pace has played drums with many bands throughout the 80's in both Chicago and LA. Bands like Shotgun Sally, Shark Island, Wicked Ryhme, and short stints with Energy Vampires, Diamond Rexx, No Romeo. In former bands Rob has opened for bands like Great White and Lizzy Borden. He has been part of many live and studio projects throughout the years and has rubbed elbows in the 80’s with celebs like Winger, Warrant and Ratt to name a few. Rob brings his 80’s style of drumming to the table to give DRAMA QUEEN that big 80’s drum sound that is needed. “T” (Tara) Sheetz starting playing piano and learning classical music at the age of 7. In high school she discovered her love for singing and sang alto in the choir. She continued singing in choirs and playing piano throughout her college years. She’s played in several worship teams and local cover bands in the state-line area. She has an appreciation for all types of music and has even played keys and sang back up for the Big Elvis Show at Harrah’s Casino. “T’” always dreamed of being a lead singer in a band and playing keys. In 2011, “T” became the lead singer and keys in the band Dirtee Sheetz. “T” is a true 80’s girl by heart who loves to rock & roll. In 2018 “T” joined DRAMA QUEEN “LIVE” and brings her sassy sound and vocals to the stage!!!!
J-Ro Rostamo has been playing bass for several bands throughout the Rockford area which include Mob Zero, Sweet Oblivion and Rive. In 2018 Joel joined DRAMA QUEEN “LIVE” and brings his low end thunder that rounds out the DRAMA QUEEN sound.
