TOMORROW’S EVE raise the curtain for the first act with the brilliant lyric video for “Bread And Circuses” from their Progressive Metal comeback album “Mirror Of Creation III – Project Ikaros”
A few weeks ago, the German Progressive Metal institution TOMORROW’S EVE announced their comeback with the fifth studio album “Mirror Of Creation III – Project Ikaros”. A concept album that could not be more majestic, varied and bombastic. The dramas of the past and perhaps of the future human history are presented so emotionally and challenging that goose bumps are guaranteed, when the band will enter the next distinctive dimension of their work. TOMORROW’S EVE are more than just the sum of their parts consisting of singer Martin LeMar (Mekong Delta, Lalu, Nachtgeschrei), both founding members of TOMORROW’S EVE, guitarist Rainer Grund and keyboard player Oliver Schwickert as well as bass legend Mike LePond (Symphony X, Ross The Boss) and drummer John Macaluso (Yngwie Malmsteen, Labyrinth, Ark, TNT). Musically, they merge as a driving rhythm section with sensitive piano passages, acoustic guitars and extensive soundscapes in connection with the lyrical concept of the works of Edgar Allen Poe.
Today, TOMORROW’SEVE release as first clip the brilliant lyric video for “Bread And Circuses”, produced at the highest level by designer Andy Pilkington (Very Metal Art), who already worked among others with Threshold, Orden Ogan, Armored Dawn. With help of his staccato-like imagery, that takes your breath away, the Prog masters bring up a painful subject with this lyric video to the contemporary society (Trump, Malala, impoverishment) and accentuate the dense atmosphere that contributes to the overall effect of this extraordinary Progressive Metal album.
