Welcome once again to the Weekend News Report. It's been a wild week in the genre of modern hair metal. New members in band's, new video's to go over, more tours and festivals to announce, but first we have to go over the news happening in our January video/single countdown. We had another tie breaker for the #3 spot (for the second month in a row!). Right now we are waiting for the results of the tie between 🇸🇪Aerodyne🇸🇪 - We All Live A Lie (lyric video), and 🇫🇮Shiraz Lane🇫🇮 - People Like Us, before we can hand the awards out. So if you're not a follower of our page you'll be reading the results next week in the Weekend News Report.

🇸🇪Crashdiet🇸🇪 played a short acoustic set on the 31st at the Pub Anchor in Stockholm with 🇸🇪Blackout Express🇸🇪 as the opener. They were then seen at the Bandit awards were they also did a live interview. They'll be at the Paunchy Cats in Germany on April 28th with the 🇸🇪Trench Dogs🇸🇪 and 🇮🇹Speed Stroke🇮🇹 as the support bands.

The 🇨🇿Nasty Ratz🇨🇿 are back! They have a whole new line up and a NEW video/single for the song "Poetic Justice" coming out on February 10th. I caught up with frontman/founder, Jake Widow for an exclusive interview about the new Ratz and their future. It's available to read HERE. This week 🇸🇪H.E.A.T.🇸🇪 will be nominated at the Swedish Grammi awards held in Stockholm on the 8th in the hard rock/heavy metal album of the year category for their 2017 album "Into The Great Unknown"

🇳🇴NiteRain🇳🇴 released their latest video "#1 Bad Boy" on February 1st. NiteRain took a fun approach to this video and set up a camera in front of a swimming pool and let the film roll. The video will be placed in our February video/single countdown at the end of the month.

🇩🇪Kissin' Dynamite🇩🇪 have been touring maniacs these past few years. Countless festivals, the Generation Goodbye album released in 2016, the Dynamite Nights DVD in 2017, e

tc. With all of the wild times they had, they've decided to take a much needed and well deserved rest. Don't worry, they live for the road and they'll be back soon.

We've talked a lot about the Wildfest in Belguim that is taking place on April 21st. Another rockin' festival is the Sleazefest that will be taking place in Bochum, Germany on Saturday, March 10th. There is a killer line up of bands! 🇫🇷BlackRain🇫🇷, 🇸🇪Confess🇸🇪, 🇸🇪Crazy Lixx🇸🇪, 🇨🇿Nasty Ratz🇨🇿, 🇳🇴NiteRain🇳🇴, 🇸🇪Sister🇸🇪, 🇩🇪Snakebite🇩🇪, and 🇮🇹Speed Stroke🇮🇹! Some of you might recall a few weeks back when 🇫🇮Shiraz Lane🇫🇮 had to cancel playing this event.

North America (United States, Canada, Mexico):

🇺🇸Denman🇺🇸 will be playing the Sleazy Slimey Sunday on May 6th with legends Ted Poley (Danger Danger), Every Mothers Nightmare, Junkyard, and more! Tickets are available HERE.

🇺🇸Leathurbitch🇺🇸 were in Seattle last weekend playing at Substratum album release show. 🇺🇸Love N' Revenge🇺🇸 announced that their new album "Fire & Ice" will be out this Spring. There is no official release date as of yet. 🇺🇸Love Stallion🇺🇸 bassist, Aero X, celebrated his birthday on the 31st. 🇺🇸Once Around🇺🇸 are having their video shoot at the Opera House in downtown Mineral Point, WI on February 10th. 🇨🇦Rusted🇨🇦 were live on tv in Abitibi for the resource telethon on the 28th. Tickets are for sale for their April 13th show with Sword. 🇨🇦Sleazy Way Out🇨🇦 will be playing at the Piranha on February 24th with Playhouses and The Glock Rebels. Patrick Kearney and Chris Lane of 🇺🇸Station🇺🇸, have been invited to play an acoustic set at the songwriters showcase held at Nabe in NYC on Sunday. That starts at 7:00 pm. Station are on tour and will be coming to Illinois and Connecticut soon.

🇺🇸Steel Panther🇺🇸 are in Germany for their "Lower The Bar 2018" tour. They'll be there all week long. Once this tour ends, they'll be starting another tour in the US called the "Sunset Strip live" tour. They also have new t-shirts available. 🇺🇸WICKED🇺🇸 guitarist Scotty V is now endorsing the Holzer "S" guitar. He did an interview with Assistant Admin Tim earlier this week. Northern Europe (Nordic countries):

🇸🇪Confess🇸🇪 had a few issues with their Spotify not too long ago, but they are pleased to announce that both of their album's are back online. 🇳🇴The Cruel Intentions🇳🇴 went live on their Facebook page for a rehearsal of their up coming shows.

🇸🇪Eclipse🇸🇪 will be playing in Finland with 🇫🇮One Desire🇫🇮 on February 10th at the Pakkahuone in Tampere. 🇫🇮Reckless Love🇫🇮 frontman/mega-star Olli Herman was doing meet & greet signing sessions at the MP18 on Friday. He'll be back for more signing sessions on Sunday. Meanwhile Reckless Love and 🇫🇮The 69 Eyes🇫🇮 are doing a monster double tonight. 🇫🇮Santa Cruz🇫🇮 also had a video post of their rehearsal for their up coming tour in the United States that kicks off on the 28th. But before that they'll be in Kuopio, Finland on the 10th.

🇸🇪Taste🇸🇪 have signed a record deal with AOR Heaven for the next album!

🇫🇮Temple Balls🇫🇮 will be at the 45 Special on Feb 9th, and in Hullu Porock at the Hullu Poro Arena on Feb 10th.

Mediterranean:

🇮🇹Cream Pie🇮🇹 released their new video/single "Friendzoned" on the 1st. This is the second single from their album "No Secrets".

🇪🇸Erotic Psycho🇪🇸 had their album release on February 2nd. "The Lost Boyz" is now available and the Straight From The Underground tour kicks off at the end of this month.

🇮🇹Hell In The Club🇮🇹 hits the road this March. 🇮🇹The Lethal Idols🇮🇹 are featured in issue #47 of Stencil Mag. We have an exclusive interview with 🇮🇹Reckless🇮🇹 guitarist, Alex Jawbone, coming soon. Assistant Admin Tim caught up with him to get a look at what's ahead in their future. Expect to see the new 🇮🇹Sandness🇮🇹 music video this month. 🇪🇸Street Vipers🇪🇸 will be playing with 🇪🇸Jolly Joker🇪🇸 on February 16th in Cantabria. 🇮🇹When Venus Weaps🇮🇹 have backstage previews of their upcoming video "Through The Stars" on their Instagram page.

Western Europe:

Tickets are available for all of the up coming 🇫🇷BlackRain🇫🇷 mini-tour dates this spring. 🇨🇭Dizzy Fox🇨🇭 hit the 400 fans mark. Not a bad start, dude's! They'll have an announcement coming in the next few weeks, so sit tight. 🇨🇭HAIRDRYER🇨🇭 will be at the Hotel Piz Buin Klosters on February 21st. 🇩🇪Night Lazer🇩🇪 returned to Hanover on the 26th after a five year absence. They promised they wouldn't go that long without touring again. They're in Berlin today. 🇩🇪Pussy Sisster🇩🇪 have a video post of them doing a photo shoot for 2018. That can be found be visiting their FB PAGE .

🇫🇷Sadhayena🇫🇷 will be playing with 🇫🇷Gorgeous🇫🇷 on February 15th at the Le Ferrailleur rock cafe. 🇩🇪Street Hawk🇩🇪 are still in search for a new frontman. 🇧🇪Wildheart🇧🇪 will start their mini-tour of Germany in March.

Eastern Europe, and European Russia:

🇨🇿Bad Jokers Cream🇨🇿 had their video/single "Perfect Deal" featured on TV REBEL on the Czech blade. 🇱🇻Bloody Heels🇱🇻 were back in action once again. They played their second gig of the year yesterday at the Rokkafejnica in Riga. 🇨🇿Double Raw🇨🇿 are hard at work in the studio. They're putting the final touches on a few of the songs. One in particular "Bastards", has been re-named "High Society". 🇨🇿Hairy Groupies🇨🇿 have posted a few of their upcoming dates on their page. More will be announced in the future. 🇨🇿Sleaxy RoXxX🇨🇿 will be in Germany on May 16th at the District 6 in Dusseldorf. The 🇷🇺Stripped Guns🇷🇺 played with 🇷🇺Wild Child🇷🇺 at the Glastonberry Pub on January 26th. This was the only gig Wild Child had planned for this year. Whether or not we see more of them in 2018 is yet to be determined.

United Kingdom (UK) and Ireland:

You can now listen to the debut 🇬🇧DAMN DICE🇬🇧 album "The Great Unknown" on all platforms (Spotify, iTunes...etc). They even made a special channel on YouTube. You can catch them live at The Lounge Promotion-Nightclub Kolis on February 17th. 🇬🇧Midnite City🇬🇧 will be at the Manchester Academy 3 on February 9th.

And speaking of February 9th, 🇬🇧Nasty High🇬🇧 will kick off their UK tour on that day at the club Eleven. 🇮🇪Stone Trigger🇮🇪 have a May UK tour posted. More dates might be added. They also have a new t-shirt available.

Australia, and New Zealand:

🇦🇺Black Alpine🇦🇺 and 🇦🇺Dangerous Curves🇦🇺 will be playing at the Bendigo Hotel in Victoria on February 9th. The 🇦🇺Sisters Doll🇦🇺 song "Good Day To Be Alive" will be played every Tuesday at 7:00 am, on "Breakfast with Johnno" Casey Radio 97.7FM.

South America, Middle America, and the Caribbean Islands:

🇧🇷Inluzt🇧🇷 played the Glamnation party at the Manifesto Bar last weekend. 🇧🇷Tales From The Porn🇧🇷 will be shipping their signed cd's on February 9th.

South Africa/India/Japan/Asia/Middle Eastern:

🇿🇦L.A. Cobra🇿🇦 played the Rumours Rock City in Gauteng, South Africa, on February 2nd.
