Welcome once again to the Weekend News Report, and welcome once again to the readers of hairbandheaven.rocks! We've got another action packed week of modern hair metal madness with media outlets taking their readers poll on the best of 2017.
Sleaze Roxx are doing their Top 20 album's of 2017. Message or email "Mr. Sleaze" himself, Olivier, with your top pick. We are also in the midst of our 2017 readers poll. The voting card is pinned to the top of our page. You can vote in five different categories. The voting will end at 8:00 pm (US, eastern standard time zone) on Monday, January 15th. 🇫🇮Shiraz Lane🇫🇮 hit this week with a brand new video for the song "People Like Us". This is the second music video released from their up coming album "Carnival Days" due out on February 23rd. This makes it three overall tracks we've heard off of this album (the title track was released as a single only in December), and I'm already impressed with this album. The media uses terms like "sophmore jinx" when band's put out a killer debut album and the second album comes out flat. Not in this case. These song's are sounding even better! The production is solid! The quality is far superior when compared to the debut. Pre-order this album immediately. 🇸🇪Crazy Lixx🇸🇪 are set to hit the road again for the Ruff Justice '18 tour! The first stop is Linkoping at the Palatset on January 27th. Crazy Lixx are bound and determined to hit all of the corners of the world with this tour that is now in it's second year! They'll be hitting the USA in May for the Melodic Rock Fest on the 4th. 🇫🇷BlackRain🇫🇷 are back in the news!!! After taking most of 2017 off to rest after the big year of 2016, the Paris Powerhouses are going to be blasting up the road this March with these dates:
🇺🇸Steel Panther🇺🇸 have announced that they'll be performing their "Feel The Steel" album in it's entirety at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on Monday, January 22nd. For their fans in Dublin, you can catch them at the Academy on the 18th.
🇳🇴The Cruel Intentions🇳🇴 have sent their debut album in to be mixed. The process is moving along extremely well. They also reported that they are playing the Wildfest in Belgium on April 21st! They are the final band to be added to the star studded line up of 🇱🇻Bloody Heels🇱🇻, 🇸🇪Confess🇸🇪, 🇸🇪Eclipse🇸🇪, 🇸🇪Bulletrain🇸🇪, 🇧🇪Wildheart🇧🇪, and the Emporers Of Decay. Speaking of 🇱🇻Bloody Heels🇱🇻, they will be playing the culture palace "Aurora" on Tuesday January 16th.

It contains a signed copy of the Bad Blood Rising CD, and a tour t-shirt to go with that. 🇫🇮Serpico🇫🇮 posted that they have something new & fresh coming on January 23rd. 🇫🇷Rakel Traxx🇫🇷 are playing tonight in France at the Sectet Place (home of underground rock). 🇮🇹Reckless🇮🇹 are playing at the Hells Angels MC in Vecenza tonight. 🇫🇷Sadhayena🇫🇷 will be playing with The Blast Wave and Scandal Crash on January 27th at Le Marquis de Sade. 🇮🇹Speed Stroke🇮🇹 are getting set to light 2018 on fire! 🇬🇧DAMN DICE🇬🇧 lead guitarist, Wallis, has finished all of his solo's on the new album. 🇬🇧Midnite City🇬🇧 will invade Athens, Greece next week! They'll be releasing their third single and lyric video for "One Step Away" on Monday, January 15th. 🇬🇧Nasty High🇬🇧 have a UK tour coming. They have a slew of dates posted on their page.
Australia, and New Zealand:
🇦🇺Sisters Doll🇦🇺 will be playing their first show of 2018 at the Village Green Hotel on January 25th with KISStroyer.
