Wild Mick Brown and the Bourbon Ballet Promo Video

With over 10 million records sold during his career, legendary drummer “Wild” Mick Brown has manned the kit for some of rock's most influential acts. Best known as part of the classic line-up of multi-platinum act Dokken, Brown has bashed the skins for Lynch Mob (which featured MTV hits “Wicked Sensation” and “River Of Love”), Montrose and the ever notorious Ted Nugent amongst others. And now for the first time it's Mick's name up on the marquee... “Wild” Mick Brown is going out solo for the first time ever with his new band, The Bourbon Ballet, playing hits spanning his entire career. “I'm still very active with both Dokken, but I feel like the timing is right for me to do something on my own now as well,” says Brown. “I get to play some of the coolest songs from my whole career all in one set which is pretty awesome.”

Mick has handpicked an ace backing band featuring Scott Hammons on vocals, whose credits include Icon, Tunnel (featuring King Kobra guitarist Dave Henzerling), as well as other projects with Badland's Greg Chaisson and Keel's Dwain Miller. Handling six string duties is the versatile Jef Poremba from Seventrain (featuring members of 24/7 Spyz, Tourniquet and Cage), Kofee Baker, and is an original guitarist for L.A.'s renowned long standing Metal Shop cover act. And locking down the groove with Mick on bass is Chris Catero from Razer, ex-Megadeth guitar god Marty Friedman's solo band, and Metal Blade recording act Wardog.

The set list includes many of the great tunes from Brown's career, featuring classics like Dokken's “In My Dreams”, Lynch Mob's “Wicked Sensation”, Montrose's “Bad Motor Scooter”, and Ted Nugent's “Cat Scratch Fever” to name a few. With all the excitement surrounding Brown's first solo venture the band is now booking tour dates throughout 2016.
