Chuck Garric of Beasto Blanco, Alice Cooper - Interview with Hair Band Heaven

Born from the Mountain Mud and Desert Sun ...
Beasto Blanco was formed in 2012 by Chuck Garric and Chris Latham. They set out to create a raw, powerful, rock & roll band with a searing, theatrical live experience. Enter Calico Cooper, rock vixen and the spawn of Garric’s boss, legendary shock rocker Alice Cooper and a renegade German rhythm section and Beasto Blanco’s inimitable sound and image emerged.
Chuck, thanks for taking the time to answer some questions for us.
Thanks for having me.
The new album is great! Can you tell our readers a little bit about the latest release “Beasto Blanco” ?
The self titled release is our second studio album. This new album is Pure Rock n Roll, sonically energetic and theatrically entertaining.
Alice’ Cooper’s daughter, Calico is in the band, tell us a little bit about her and the other guys in the band?
Calico brings such an amazing energy to the band a real down and dirty true rock and roll spirit. Jan and Tim were born to Rock they're an incredible rhythm section always on the same page. Brother Latham is loud Rock, blues based guitar player who has a unique style all his own.

The band has made some really cool videos for “Death Rattle” ,“Grind”, and “Feed My Frankenstein” off the new album. What’s your take on making videos? The bands sound and image comes across great in my opinion.
Video are important. Its is a way to bring our music to life and give the audience a chance to have a front seat. We are a live band there is always something happening on stage something you don't want to miss. Our music videos our a way for our new fans and fans that already know about us, to experience what it would be like live.
The song “Death Rattle” get’s stuck in your head, I love it! What’s your favorite song off the new album?
Death Rattle was one of the first songs written for the new album and one of my favorite on the album and to play live. My Favorite track is Dark Matter and has become a real fan favorite. Such a departure but still heavy and dark. Lyrics are incredible I love to double meaning.
DEATH RATTLE
You’ve had a long history of working with some great musicians. Can you tell us a little bit about what you’ve taken away from working with artist like Alice Cooper and Dio?
I mean to have my name mentioned next to Ronnie James Dio and Alice Cooper is huge compliment. I've learned so much from both of them. The one thing I carry with me is, you have to work hard believe in what your doing. On stage it may be our 100th show but to most of the crowd its their 1st. Alice taught me how to put a live show together and Dio showed me how to perform like a pro!

Give us your top five albums of all time?
Queen - News of the world. AC/DC - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. Kiss - Alive ll. Clutch - Blast Tyrant. Iron Maiden- Killers. Beatles - Revolver. Motorhead - We are Motorhead. Rainbow - Long Live Rock n Roll.
Is that 5? I can't count.
GRIND
You’ve been playing with Alice since 2002, what’s the craziest thing you’ve seen on tour in that time?
I've seen the world and its a crazy place.
Who are some of your musical influences?
Everyone mentioned above and most Rock band from the 70's. I dig Rob Zombie and White Zombie. But what got me started was Chuck Berry and Elvis the true OG's of Rock n Roll.
FEED MY FRANKENSTEIN
