Artist: Sinful
Release: demo 1985 [Nuno Bettencourt]
Country: Boston,MA USA

Yes this is the same Nuno Bettencoust from EXTREME! A rare demo by Nuno's first band called SINFUL. As far I know this was recorded in 1985.  Nuno's axe work here is jaw dropping. Some rare overlooked demos from this future guitar great. This deserves to be heard, and now you can hear the buried gem from years ago.

Track List:

1. Give Me A Wink: - 00:00

2. Little Racer: - 4:18

3. Always On My Mind: - 7:58

These are demos recorded by the band Badlands. Badlands was a band founded by former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee and former Black Sabbath members Ray Gillen and Eric Singer. Badlands also featured bassist Greg Chaisson. After the first Badlands album, Eric Singer was replaced by Jeff Martin. The group lasted from 1988 to 1993 and released two albums, Badlands (1989) and Voodoo Highway (1991) before Gillen left and was replaced by singer John West from New York. Gillen's death...

White Heat (pre-Firehouse) - Demos (1988 ) many of these songs went on to appear on the debut album from Firehouse.

The history of FireHouse can be traced back to 1984, when Leverty's band White Heat needed a drummer. After over 20 auditions, current FireHouse drummer Michael Foster answered the ad and when Leverty was impressed by his skill, he quickly hired him. When the band wasn't on tour, Leverty and Foster would visit rock clubs, and it was at one of these clubs where they caught...

The band was formed by former Kiss guitarist Mark St. John and former Black Sabbath vocalist David Donato, along with St. John's younger brother and guitar technician during his time in Kiss, Michael Norton, on bass, and drummer Brian James Fox.

The band whose Glam metal image and sound was somewhat similar to 80's-era Kiss were dropped from their record label in later 1986 after executives saw no potential hit singles on their self-titled debut album.

The band recorded a 7 track demo i...

ALIEN ... 1982 demo which tears it up big style, sounding very similar to a killer NWOBHM band with soaring lead guitar work galore. There's 1, possibly 2 tracks on here that could be classed as Hardrock/AOR/Hair metal, but the rest is just MUCH heavier, rawer & downright power-laden than their vinyl EP ( & sole release!!), the songs on the demo that also appear on the ep, are played faster & with way more grit & energy too.  Also included the 1983 interview the band did with a member...

The "Long Cold Winter" sessions featuring Cozy Powell on drums.

Taken from the original master cassette tape (Maxell XLII 60) belonged to Cozy Powell.

When asked about Cozy Powell playing drums on "Long Cold Winter" Tom Keifer had this to say:

He played most of the drums.  Fred was new to the band.  We had a session drummer on our first record and Fred came in and did the tour.  Fred was very young.  When we came back in to do Long Cold Winter, Andy didn’t think he was quite there.  We...
